Supported employment and training in the workplace

		  HoursWorth is a
Supported Employment Scheme that enables people with a learning disability and high support needs to access the world of paid work with a range of employers in the local community. Jobsites include, for example a high street bookshop, high school, church centre and furniture recycling centre. The wide variety of jobs varies from clerical support to art technician and groundsman to café assistant. Employers recognise and value the positive role models, skills, motivation and commitment of the people employed through the scheme.

HoursWorth acknowledges and celebrates each person's individuality and potential and this is reflected in the provision of one to one support and vocational training.
